Great honor for the Chairman of the Foundation Board: Prof. Dr. Gerhard Ehninger receives medal of honor from TU Dresden

On May 22, 2025, Prof. Dr. Gerhard Ehninger, Chairman of the Board of the Cellex Foundation, was awarded the Medal of Honor of the Technische Universität Dresden.

TU Dresden is thus recognizing his outstanding scientific achievements in the field of cancer medicine as well as his social commitment - in particular through the work of the Cellex Foundation, which is committed to social participation, social cohesion and strengthening democracy.

In her laudatory speech, Prof. Dr. Angela Rösen-Wolff, Vice-Rector for Research at TU Dresden, highlighted Prof. Ehninger's medical and scientific achievements as well as his work beyond the clinic.
