Dresden is(s)t bunt 2025 – A Long Table for a Diverse City

The banquet has become a beloved and established event in Dresden’s cultural calendar. Cultural institutions and initiatives from the independent scene, intercultural associations, community groups, businesses, public institutions and ministries come together to host this joyful celebration of diversity and encounter. Thousands of people take part – enjoying food and drink from around the world, engaging in conversations and experiencing the unique atmosphere that fills the streets.

This year, we invite you to join us once again as we turn the Hauptstraße – from Neustädter Markt to Jorge-Gomondai-Platz – into one long, open-air table. Bring your favourite home-cooked dishes, a musical or cultural contribution, or simply your curiosity and openness. Sit down, share, talk, listen – everything that brings people together is welcome.

Registration will open shortly. All participants from previous years will be contacted directly and invited to take part again. We look forward to welcoming both familiar and new faces to this year’s banquet.

The programme is set to be colourful and diverse, with dancing, live music, storytelling, hands-on activities and plenty of opportunities for exchange and connection. Let yourself be inspired by the richness of this shared moment!

• The banquet begins at 4:00 PM and ends at 8:00 PM
